Footprints
Footprints are not always visible or easy to see at the scene. You can present your prints in a clear manner, distinguishing between each person’s prints.
• Presented in this way it is possible to follow the
route taken by each person through the scene.
• You can view the marks in their true context when
they are mapped into a 3 dimensional model of the scene.
• From any of these positions you can view the
scene and see what the suspect could have seen from that particular location.
• You can establish whether a person was being
stalked, for example prior to an attack.
• You can link the display of fingerprint and
DNA evidence, reinforcing the possibility that the suspect was in the scene.
“We found Virtual Reconstructions to be extremely
helpful in presenting our case and I think they and their technology will be
used a lot more in the future.”
